THE BETSY GOWN
Refined drama, elevated length.
The Betsy Gown is a study in fluid structure and elongated elegance. A softly draped bodice falls from a deep V neckline, balanced by subtle shoulder structure and full-length sleeves. The stitched waistband defines the silhouette before releasing into a stretch satin skirt designed to move with quiet authority.
Unlike the Betsy Long Dress, this gown features an extended godet panel through the lower skirt, creating added flare and movement, and finishes with a soft train that elongates the silhouette for formal occasions.
Crafted in premium stretch satin, the gown skims the body with controlled fluidity while maintaining architectural clarity through the upper frame.
Available as an in-stock piece where possible. If your preferred size or colour is not immediately available, The Betsy Gown can be created to order. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for production, with custom sizing available upon request.

About the Fit
Crafted in stretch satin, The Betsy Gown is designed to contour while allowing ease of movement. The draped bodice offers flexibility through the bust and torso, while the structured waistband anchors the midsection for a sculpted silhouette.
Fitted through the waist and hips before releasing into a fluid godet flare, the skirt creates movement and length without clinging. The addition of lining through the lower skirt and sleeves provides extra coverage, particularly in lighter tones, ensuring confidence and comfort without compromising the gown’s refined finish.
The overall fit is elegant and elongating — structured above the waist, fluid below — offering a polished silhouette suited to formal evenings and statement occasions.

THIS GOWN IS MADE FROM BIAS CUT STRETCH SATIN, IT’S DESIGNED TO DRAPE OVER YOUR BODY.
THE WAISTBAND IS A STRUCTURED DESIGN, SO PLEASE ENSURE YOU SELECT THE BEST SIZE FOR YOUR WAIST MEASUREMENT. YOU CAN FIND THE SIZE CALCULATOR HERE. THE BODICE CAN BE WORN OPEN FOR MORE COVERAGE OR CLOSED FOR MORE COVERAGE. THE DRESS SHOULD FALL FROM YOUR HIPS AND DOWN YOUR LEGS. IF YOU ARE FINDING THE HIPS ARE TOO FITTED, OR THE SIDE SEAMS LOOK BUMPY. TRY GOING UP ONE SIZE.
IF YOU ARE FINDING THE SHOULDERS SLIP, IT MEANS THE SIZE IS TOO BIG FOR YOU ON THE BODICE. YOU CAN EITHER TRY A SMALLER SIZE OR MOVE THE BUTTON AT THE CENTRE BACK SO YOU CAN PULL THE SHOULDERS IN MORE.
THE LENGTH OF THE DRESS IS FOR 170 CM HEIGHT WEARING 3 INCH HEELS. IF YOU ARE SHORTER THAN THIS YOU MAY NEED TO SHORTEN THE DRESS WHICH CAN BE DONE EASILY WITH YOUR LOCAL TAILOR. YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE LINING LAYERS ARE KEPT SEPARATE FOR THE SKIRT TO DRAPE EFFECTIVELY. IF YOU ARE TALLER THAN THIS, WE RECOMMEND WEARING SHORTER HEELS.
